Toy museum

Well...what an amazing day we have had! We took a trip to Warwick toy museum and got to explore all different kinds of old toys. After having made our own toys this week, it was great to see how lots of other toys move. The children were beautifully behaved and made us proud. The weather was wonderful for our teddy bear's picnic and we played some potted sports activities as well as spending some time in the park......And all back in time for achievers assembly! Phew! I'm sure the children will tell you all about it but here are some of the pictures we took.

Cool Karate!

In Birch this term we have been having weekly Karate lessons with Sensei Lee. We have been learning lots of new skills, how to stretch our muscles properly and some Japanese words too! We are all really enjoying it!

Class assembly

What an amazing job all of the children did in our class assembly! They worked so hard this week, practicing over and over again to make sure they got it right - and it really paid off! One parent commented that she thought her heart would 'burst with pride' for them all and I couldn't agree more. From the amazing puppet show to the incredible singing and dancing, the children really showed off their amazing hard work and determination. I am so proud of everything they have achieved and can't wait to get back to some more fun learning next week.
