Monday 23rd March - Creative Creatures

Good morning everybody! I hope you enjoyed the sunshine this weekend and that some of you had a go at the Joe Wickes PE lesson on youtube at 9am – my boys loved it! I am sure you will want to spend some more time outside and this activity today will encourage that. Linking back to our learning about toys from the past, do you remember the types of things children played with long ago? Remember how it was sometimes just something they found outside and made into a toy… I would like you to have a go at finding a stone and turning it into a ladybird, or a bee, or a hedgehog! Or maybe a whole little family of creatures! Then play with it and make up a story. You could use sharpies or paints to decorate it. A few photos are attached and there are hundreds of images online of ideas. I’d love to see some of your creations!

Best wishes, Mrs Thomas
