Ash Class Daily Task 22.4.20 - Cool Conjunctions

In our English work, we can join ideas within sentences by using conjunctions. Year 1 should be able to use 'and' to join two clauses in a sentence. Year 2 should aim to use a range of conjunctions, including subordination (using when, if, that, because) and co-ordination (using or, and, but). Can you write some sentences about yourself using some of these?

e.g.

I love cooking and I can make cakes.

My name is Jane and I live in a small village.

I like to go swimming when it is sunny.

I would go for a walk in the woods if it wasn't raining.

I like to go to the pool that is near my house.

I like football because it is fun to score goals.

I am good at running but I need some new trainers.

I will go to the park or I might go to the woods.

Don't forget all the usual essentials - capital letters, full stops, finger spaces and neatly formed letters! I look forward to seeing your work.
