Daily task 23/04/2020

Using your pretend armies from The Battle of Hastings, I would like you to play a game with someone in your household. One of you needs to be King Harold and the other person needs to be William of Normandy. Once you have decided who is who I would like you to take it in turns to work out the below subtraction questions. The answer to each question is how many people you get to add to your army. I used my soft toys to form my army! The person with the most people in their army by the time you have finished all questions will win The Battle of Hastings! Please write out the the questions and answers - watch the video for an example of how to play and to meet one of my sisters!

RECEPTION:

Harold’s questions: 4-2, 6-4, 1-0, 8-2, 10-3, 5-4, 7-5

William’s questions: 9-4, 4-1, 3-0, 6-5, 8-3, 1-1, 10-5
