Weekly task 27/04/2020

Thank you to everyone who managed to log onto zoom today - it's just so wonderful to see you and talk to you all! If you didn't manage to log on then don't worry, here is your weekly task:

We discovered that William the Conqueror was the first person to build castles in England because just like you said - he needed to protect himself! The first castle was a motte and bailey and didn't quite look the same as castles do today. Your weekly task is to research what a motte and bailey looked like and either draw it or make a model of it - whatever you have time/resources for. I wonder if you can add some labels too? Cant wait to see them!
