Weekly Task- W/B 4th May- Greek Artefacts

Good morning, We know much about the ancient Greeks from artefacts that have been left behind since their civilisation ended. Look through the PowerPoint and try to predict what you think each of the artefacts are. Then take each artefact in turn and explain what it teaches us about life in Ancient Greece. Does it show they wore wigs; were skilled in metal work; were religious, played games etc.

Imagine historians in the year 3000 have recently discovered artefacts from our era. What might they think they were? Choose 3 everyday items (for example: an eraser, a jigsaw puzzle and cheese grater) and write some suggestions!

You could write these in your learning journal, create a poster email me your thoughts or post on Teams.

Good luck

Mr Smith
