Following on from the work Mrs H set you last week on finding missing numbers, how about now trying to find them using the bar model method? We have done this in school and there is a simple explanation in the attached document, as well as 3 levels of difficulty to choose from with the easiest first.
As an added optional challenge, how could you use a bar model to find halves, quarters and thirds?
Clue: top part of bar is the 'whole' and you can split the bottom half into either 2, 3 or 4 pieces.
