Black Country Museum

As part of our Great Britain topic, Birch class visited the Black Country Living Museum to find out how life changed dramatically after the invention of the steam engine. The children explored the museum, learning about the importance of coal and what life was like for some of the poor and richer people that lived in the area. They even went to School in 1912 and learnt how different it would have been.
