Admissions Policy Consultation
 

Newbottle and Charlton CEVA Primary school's governing body are the admission authority for the school and it is a requirement to consult on the admissions arrangements for at least once every 7 years.  

 

Therefore, a consultation relating to the Admissions Policy for 2024-25 for the school, will commence on Monday 14th November 2022 and will conclude at midnight on Saturday 31st December 2022.

The Consultation Process

 

We would welcome your views on the proposed admission arrangements.  The proposed Admission Policy for 2024-25 can be found here: Proposed Admissions Policy 2024-25 and the proposed appendix here

We have not made any changes to our Published admission number of 15 or over subscription criteria but have reorganised the policy and made it clearer to understand the processes involving waiting lists and included more definitions of terms to support those are reading it. 

​

Notification of the consultation is being communicated to the following: 

  • The Local Authority –  West Northamptonshire County Council 

  • All parents and carers of pupils and students of the school

  • Peterborough diocese

  • Other persons who have an interest in the proposed admission policies (Pre-schools)

At the end of the consultation process all responses will be collated and presented to the governing body who will decide whether any further changes need to be made following the consultation.  The Admissions Policy for 2024-25 will be approved and published by 28th February 2023.
