Curriculum  Maps

At Newbottle and Charlton, our curriculum is tailored to teach each subject via pillars of substantive knowledge interwoven by threads of disciplinary skills. Below are the long-term maps for each subject (apart from English and Maths), outlining the key themes of learning that will be taking place over two years. As Year 1-6 are mixed year classes we follow a two year cycle of learning. We are currently in Cycle A-2024-25.
