Reception's first week full time - done! They have all been absolute superstars and have settled into the school routine excellently. Teachers and other children have commented on how polite they are around the school and they have shown brilliant listening skills in collective worship with the rest of the school. As usual they Year 1's have been working hard to settle into their new routine of more formal learning but they are taking it in their stride and becoming lovely role models for our newest members. We are now starting our new topic of 'On The Move' which we kicked off with a walk around the village to see how many different types of transport we could spot. This week Reception will experience their first Achievers Assembly and it would be lovely to see you all there and I will add some photos at the end of the week to show you how we are getting on with our new topic.
